We’re excited to announce a special initiative: the Veterans Association Food/Funds Drive. This effort is a joint project with the Southern AB Army Cadet League and Associated Grocers. Our goal is simple but vital: to support our veterans through donations.
Every Dollar Counts
For every dollar you donate, whether in cash or as food items of equal value, Associated Grocers will contribute food worth the same amount, up to $10,000. This is a fantastic opportunity to double the impact of your generosity.
How You Can Help
There are two main ways to contribute:
Monetary Donations: These are crucial as the food bank has various financial obligations. When donating, please mention “Cadets” in the dedication section. This helps us keep track of donations for matching. You can donate here: Veteran Association Food Bank Donation Page.
Food Donations: Corps members can gather and donate food items. You can create a food hamper and deliver it to the dedicated food bank at 820 28 St NE #10, Calgary, AB. Remember, there are two food banks in the NE area; we are collaborating with the one at the address above.
Drive Duration
The Food/Funds Drive will take place from November 17th to December 17th, 2023.
